The Arqana National Fall Breeding Sale catalog is now available, with 206 lots, including 122 broodmares and fillies and 82 National Hunt foals, ready to step into the ring.

Taking place on November 17 – following on from the Autumn Sale – two stallions will also be offered, Kitkou (Lot 658), a son of Martaline and the winner of hurdles Kotkia in 1st year and a brother of the Prix scorer Ferdinand Dufaure in 1st year Kotkikova, of Haras d’Enki, and of the Group placed Desinvolteh (659), which will be offered by Haras du Saz.

Broodmares and fillies are presented full of stallions such as Buck’s Boom, Doctor Dino, Kapgarde, Masked Marvel and No Risk At All, as well as young bulls For Fun, Goliath Du Berlais, Headman, Moises Has and Telecaster.

Among the fillies and mares classified or listed or performing are Utopia Jem from Haras des Cordelles (753), dam of the Grade 1 winner, winner of the Cambacérès Theleme Prize and donated by Doctor Dino, Gradee du Haras de Saint Voir (712), hurdler winner and Listed half-sister to No Risk At All full Red Group winner, and Fishery Lane Hurdle scorer Missy Tata (766), which bears in Zarak and will be offered by Haras du Lieu des Champs.

Several sisters or half-sisters of Groupe / Graded winners are also included in the catalog, including Srheliga (661), the half-sister of Pegasus Stable of Srelighonn who carries her first foal by the Grand Pretender, Raffles Sacre (750), sister of Haras du Lieu des Champs of Raffles Face, Grade 1 classified and scorer of the Questarabad Prize, and Belladame (771), sister of Elevage Corveller de Djakadam who is offered full of Beaumec De Houelle.

Among the 82 foals offered, there is Doctor Dino of the Pégase Stable, half-brother of Srelighonn (660), No Risk At All d’Elevage Pierji, half-brother of the three-time winner of Groupe Ambroise (758), and Beaumec de Houelle from Haras des Mesnil, half-sister to Paul’s Saga (843).

The sale produced many group or ranked winners, including this year’s brilliant Champion Hurdle heroine Honeysuckle and Hurdle winner Albert Bartlett Novices Vanillier, while stylish performers of auction-bought broodmares include Roncal, Coko Beach and Tea Clipper.
